Entry Requirements
The closing date for registrations for entry September 2013 is Saturday 1 December 2012.
Entrance Exam
Applicants for entry at 7+ are invited into the Preparatory School on two separate occasions in the January before proposed entry. Offers of places for the Preparatory school are posted in mid February. One of these sessions for entry September 2013 will take place on Saturday 19 January 2013.
Applications
A single (non-returnable) registration fee of £60 is required. Cheques should be made payable to Bancroft’s School. A copy of the child's birth certificate or passport must accompany all applications.
The purpose of our entrance processes is not to make Bancroft’s more academically selective, but to help us make offers on a controlled basis to candidates we feel will benefit most from the education we can offer. We receive many more applications than we have places. Some candidates may be placed on a waiting list following the tests and may be offered places if vacancies arise.
