U13 Hockey Success

Victory in  Southgate 7-a-Side Schools' Hockey Tournament: Both U13 girls' hockey teams performed very well. The A team won the "Advanced" competition in the face of some strong opposition from reputable hockey playing schools. The opposition included many county and even international level players, and Bancroft's won through some very good team play. They only conceded 1 goal in the entire competition, which was a credit to the defence! The B team came second in the "Improvers" competition, narrowly missing first place by a single point.
